Educational trip to Mosėdis

The students of the Gifted, Able, and Talented Club started the week with an exciting visit to the Vaclovas Intas Stone Museum in Mosėdis. This trip was an excellent complement to the topics they had been studying on prehistory, archaeology, and paleontology. The students successfully connected their existing knowledge with newly acquired information, and through exploration and discovery, they broadened their understanding of the world.

A particularly memorable experience was learning how to start a fire using an ancient method with flint and an iron-bearing mineral. This activity exceeded all expectations, as it allowed the students to experience, if only for a moment, a part of the everyday life of people who lived during the Stone Age.
