Admission

New students are kindly invited to familiarize themselves with the National and International Baccalaureate programs, as well as the organization of education at Klaipėda Lyceum for the 2025-2026 academic year

Admission of New Students to Study According to the National Program and International Baccalaureate Program:

  • Submission of Applications for Admission
  • Certificate from the School Regarding First Semester Subject Grades
  • Lithuanian Language and Mathematics Diagnostic Tests (English language test for applicants to the International Baccalaureate program)
  • Information for Parents About the Student Admission Committee's Decision on the Possibility of Studying at Klaipėda Lyceum
  • Signing of Education Contracts and Payment of the Admission Fee

Important Information

  • Klaipėda Lyceum is a non-selective school that admits students as long as there are available places in the classes. The results of the entrance exam only affect those applying for Klaipėda Lyceum scholarships.

  • Students who do not accept the values and community agreements of the Lyceum will not be admitted to Klaipėda Lyceum.

 

FEE for full-day education at Klaipėda Lyceum for students following the national programs of pre-school, pre-primary, primary, secondary, and upper secondary education, as well as the International Baccalaureate program:

  • 700 EUR per month (paid in 10 installments per year)
  • Testing fee – 50 EUR
  • One-time admission fee – 1,000 EUR (The admission fee is divided into two parts: 500 EUR is paid when enrolling in the Small Klaipėda Lyceum, and 500 EUR is paid when enrolling in Klaipėda Lyceum)
  • For those choosing the International Baccalaureate program, there is an additional monthly fee: pre-school and grades 1–4: 100 EUR; grades 5–10 and 11–12: 170 EUR
  • If more than one child from the same family is enrolled, a 20% discount applies for the second and subsequent children. This discount does not apply to the International Program fee or if any student receives a Klaipėda Lyceum scholarship.
  • Once the admission fee is paid, a place in the corresponding class is reserved according to the chosen program. The admission fee is non-refundable if the decision to study at the Lyceum is changed. If the admission fee is not paid on time, the school has the right to offer the student’s place to another student from the waiting list.

Included in the fee:

  • Student’s engagement and education according to individual needs from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

  • Lessons according to the National or International Baccalaureate program

  • Additional lessons based on the chosen academic discipline (Grades 9–10)

  • Ongoing consultations for core subjects according to a scheduled timetable (before and after lessons)

  • Activities based on advanced subject teaching programs

  • Education for gifted and talented children according to individual programs

  • Individual and group consultations for students returning to school after illness or experiencing temporary learning difficulties

  • Scientific research activities

  • Clubs and studios according to a set timetable

  • Comprehensive individual progress assessment for the child once per academic year

  • Consultations with a psychologist/speech therapist (10 times per academic year)

  • Career counseling specialist consultations

  • Individual meetings with teachers and child support specialists

 

Not included in the fee:

  • Additional individual and group subject consultations according to a pre-discussed additional support plan with the student’s parents

  • Excursions, some class and school events (transportation, entry tickets)

  • Personal learning materials ordered by the school: materials for foreign language learning, workbooks for various subjects, sportswear, etc.

  • Participation fees for certain competitions, Olympiads, or contests

  • Meals

  • International Baccalaureate exam fees

Klaipėda Lyceum Scholarships

Students applying for 9th grade to study according to the National program can apply for a full or partial Klaipėda Lyceum scholarship. Such a scholarship may be awarded by the Student Admission Committee to motivated students with the highest academic achievements and who actively participate in social activities. The competition ranking for students applying for the scholarship is based on the student’s competition score.

 

To receive a Klaipėda Lyceum scholarship, it is necessary to earn additional points for social activities. Without these additional points for social engagement, the Klaipėda Lyceum scholarship will not be awarded. Significant social activity is demonstrated by: active participation in Klaipėda Lyceum’s artistic and sports activities, active involvement in student government, personal initiatives at the school, certificates from non-governmental organizations about participation in social activities, and other documents proving social involvement (such as volunteer contracts, etc.). Documents confirming social activity should be submitted with the application for 9th grade.
