Early Social, Emotional, and Musical Education Sessions for Infants and Children Up to 18 Months

The first year of life is the most important. During this period, not only basic movements and language skills begin to develop, but also social, emotional, and musical abilities. Understanding the significance of this special time, the Klaipėda Lyceum invites parents and their little ones to participate in social and emotional development sessions, where babies can explore a world full of discoveries, sounds, movement, and connection alongside their teachers and parents.

What to Expect at the Junior Academy?

Age-Based Groups

• Infants (4-8 months) – A gentle first step towards communication, sound recognition, and early body and emotional interactions.
• Toddlers (9-18 months) – More exploration, active movement, communication with other children, and discovering the world.

Schedule of Sessions

One session per week (45 minutes) – a consistent rhythm and a safe environment.
The course runs in two phases: October–December and January–March.

Program Content

Musical Component (based on an original early musical education program):

• Recognizing sounds, rhythms, and melodies
• Integrating songs, games, and rhymes with movement
• Familiarity with musical instruments (rattles, drums, xylophones, bells)
• Developing listening, rhythm, and voice skills
• Musical experiences that enhance social skills through communication

Fine Motor and Movement Development:
In a safe, cozy environment, little ones will:

• Explore the world through fine motor skills games
• Develop hand and foot movements during gentle exercises
• Enjoy the joy of music, movement, shapes, and colors
• Strengthen their bond with parents through shared activities
• Experience their first introduction to children’s yoga through simple, playful exercises

Each session is designed to encourage the comprehensive development of the child – from movement skills to creative exploration of the world. The program combines various activities that help the child grow healthy, curious, and confident.

For Parents:
This is a great opportunity to spend quality time with your little one while learning new ways to support their development in everyday life.

Price and Location:

• 45 EUR/month (the total course duration is 3 months).
• The sessions take place at the Small Klaipėda Lyceum (Dragūnai, Šarlotės St. 6, Klaipėda).
• There is no admission fee for graduates of the Klaipėda Lyceum’s Junior Academy when enrolling their child in preschool education at the “Small Klaipėda Lyceum” school!

Here, children grow not only physically but also emotionally – learning to understand themselves, form connections with others, and enjoy discoveries. Meanwhile, parents have the opportunity to observe their child’s progress, take part in their developmental journey, and connect with like-minded individuals.
