CHILDREN FROM 1.5 YEARS OF AGE ARE EDUCATED IN LITTLE KLAIPĖDA LYCEUM, OFFERING PRE-SCHOOL, PRE-PRIMARY AND PRIMARY EDUCATION

ADMISSION TO PRE-SCHOOL AND PRE-PRIMARY EDUCATION GROUPS

We are pleased that you are considering enrolling your child in a private kindergarten-school called Little Klaipėda Lyceum.
Admission to pre-primary and pre-primary groups is open throughout the year, as long as there are places available.

ADMISSION TO PRESCHOOL GROUPS

Based on the age of the children, we offer:

Early pre-school education groups for 1.5-2 year olds
Pre-school groups for 2-3 year olds
Early pre-primary education for 3-4 and 4-5 year olds
Pre-primary groups for 5-6.5 year olds

We accept children in pre-school groups taking into account not only the child’s age, but also individual psychological, intellectual and emotional maturity.

ADMISSION TO PRE-PRIMARY EDUCATION CLASSES

For the academic year 2022-2023, we accept children who will be between 5.5 and 6.5 years old when the academic year starts. Children attending pre-school groups at the Little Klaipėda Lyceum are admitted on a priority basis. Children from other educational institutions are admitted to pre-primary education classes only if there are vacancies.

Children who have completed pre-primary education classes at the Little Klaipėda Lyceum are admitted to Grade 1 on a priority basis.

STAGES OF ADMISSION:

interview with the head of the educational institution;
informing parents about the child's admission to the educational institution;
applying for and signing the contract;

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

application;
copy of the child's birth certificate or passport;
two photos of the child for documents;
child's health certificate.

THE FEE INCLUDES:

Full-time education and occupation (from 7:30 to 18:00)
Activities/classes in accordance with the pre-school/pre-primary curriculum;
extra lessons taught by specialist teachers in teachers in the following subjects: English, Chess, Theatre, Dance, Singing, Engineering, Corrective Exercise, Mobile Games (additional lessons can be substituted as needed);
bilingual groups have English lessons 5 times a week;
English language is integrated into the content of every subject;
Individual programmes for gifted and talented children;
individual and group sessions when the child returns to school after illness or for other reasons;
clubs: art, singing, sports, theatre, dance, chess, English, young scientists, engineering, etc. clubs can be exchanged for others if required;
Health Improvement Programme, including educational projects on healthy lifestyles, personal hygiene skills, healthy eating, corrective exercises, aromatherapy, light therapy, music therapy, Nordic walking, etc;
Social Emotional Skills Programme (KIMOCHIS)
psychological counselling (3-5 sessions per child per year);
Individual interviews with teachers and child support professionals;
comprehensive assessment of the child's individual progress and discussion of the individual education plan twice during the academic year.

FEES FOR PRE-PRIMARY AND PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION IN 2022-2023 (1 SEPTEMBER TO 30 JUNE))

EUR 550 per month in 10 instalments per year (full-time education);
Children aged 1.5-3 years old can be educated until 13:00. – EUR 450 per month, in 10 instalments per year;
Education of children aged 1.5-3 years 3 days a week (on pre-selected days of the week) – EUR 380 per month, paying 10 instalments per year;
Education of children aged 1.5-3 years 4 days a week (on pre-selected days of the week) – 470 EUR per month, paying 10 instalments per year.

Children in Klaipėda city and Klaipėda district are entitled to a monthly kindergarten allowance of EUR 100 per month from the city or district municipality.

EDUCATION FEES FOR JULY – AUGUST

EUR 550 per month;
EUR 300 for 10 business days;
EUR 180 for 5 business days.

Childcare is available around the clock if needed. The price is negotiated individually.

PRE-PRIMARY EDUCATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH BILINGUAL (LITHUANIAN- ENGLISH) TRAINING PROGRAMME. FEE IN 2022-2023 (1 SEPTEMBER TO 30 JUNE)

EUR 650 per month in 10 instalments per year

PRE-PRIMARY BILINGUAL EDUCATION (RUSSIAN – ENGLISH), RUSSIAN-LITHUANIAN) TRAINING PROGRAMME. FEE IN 2022-2023 (1 SEPTEMBER TO 30 JUNE)

EUR 650 per month in 10 instalments per year

ADDITIONAL COST

A one-off entrance fee of EUR 500 is payable upon enrollment to the Little Klaipėda Lyceum. Once the enrolment fee has been paid, the learner is included in the lists of learners. The entrance fee is a one-off fee and is not refundable. It includes admission procedures, educational programmes, tools, preparation of the learner's workplace.

Massages, physiotherapy, inhalations, Bioptron therapy (on request)
Excursions, some classroom and school events
Additional classes on request: karate, ballet, workshops, robotics, ceramics, singing, playing a musical instrument (piano, violin, ukulele)
Personalised teaching/learning tools: exercise books for various subjects, clothing for physical education and choreography classes, etc;

DISCOUNTS ON TUITION FEES

If one or more children of the same family are enrolled and paying tuition fees at the Little Klaipėda Lyceum, the annual tuition fee for the second and subsequent children is reduced by 20%.
