As national holidays approached, students of class 5 PYP B discussed civic responsibility at the Ieva Simonaitytė Library: What is citizenship? Why is it important to cherish our country? What actions make us more civic-minded? At the Pranas Domšaitis Gallery, the children revisited Lithuanian history and learned more about the members of the Council of Lithuania of 1918 – they created accessories representing the signatories and playfully signed one of the most important documents in the country’s history – the Act of Independence of Lithuania.
