Last Saturday, our Klaipėda Lyceum students from grades 6–8 took part in the ADVENTUR geography knowledge competition “Discover Lithuania and the World,” where they competed with students from schools all across Lithuania.
We are very proud of sixth-grade student Amelija Railaitė, who demonstrated excellent knowledge, won first place, and brought home a gold medal!
During the competition, all participants also had the opportunity to attend an inspiring lecture titled “The Roof of the World,” delivered by geographer Rytas Šalna. During the lecture, students deepened their knowledge of the geography of the world’s highest regions and became familiar with the secrets of the world’s mountains.
We congratulate Amelija and all participating students and wish them continued courage to explore, learn, and discover the world.
