On February 6, the opening of the joint student art exhibition “From Portrait to Landscape” by Klaipėda Lyceum and Klaipėda Eduardas Balsys Gymnasium of Arts took place at the Lyceum Gallery.
The festive atmosphere of the evening was enhanced by musical performances from students of Klaipėda Eduardas Balsys Gymnasium of Arts – Skaistė Vaitkutė and Rasa Jazdauskaitė. The audience also enjoyed a masterful performance of “Le Pasakalija” by the Klaipėda Lyceum duet – Gabrielė Talijūnaitė and Paulina Bagdonaitė.
Welcome speeches were delivered by Kristijonas Mineikis, Director of Klaipėda Lyceum; Jūratė Kavaliauskienė, Deputy Head of the Art Department at Klaipėda Eduardas Balsys Gymnasium of Arts; and the exhibition curator, teacher Toma Šlimaitė.
We are delighted by the meaningful collaboration between the two educational institutions and thank everyone who came to admire the students’ artwork.
The exhibition will be open until February 20.
