On February 26, the school stage of the Lithuanian Language Olympiad for 8th grade students took place at Klaipėda Lyceum. Thirteen students participated, demonstrating their knowledge of grammar, spelling, syntax, language culture, and their feel for the language.
It is encouraging that the students showed not only excellent knowledge but also perseverance, curiosity, and a desire to achieve the best results. Events like this encourage interest in the native language, build confidence in one’s abilities, and motivate students to continue improving.
The three best-performing students will represent Klaipėda Lyceum in the Klaipėda city stage of the Lithuanian Language Olympiad.
