On Friday, April 17, students from our school participated in the 10th IB DP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) convention held at Vilnius Lyceum.
This year’s theme, “The Power of Collaboration: Learner Profile in Action,” highlighted the importance of collaboration in the educational process and its practical application in everyday learning activities.
During the event, students actively engaged in interactive activities, worked in teams, discussed ideas, and exchanged perspectives with peers from other schools. This not only helped them gain a deeper understanding of the IB learner profile but also strengthened their communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
Teachers and coordinators explored current issues related to the IB programme, shared experiences, and sought effective collaboration strategies that can be applied in everyday teaching practice.
Participation in the convention provided a valuable opportunity to broaden horizons, gain new ideas, and strengthen connections among IB school communities.
The students were accompanied by IB DP Psychology teacher Regina Saveljeva and CAS coordinator Lijana Šmaižienė.
