Educational Trip of 2nd inž/vis Class Students to Vilnius

Students of the 2nd inž/vis class had a unique opportunity to visit Vilnius. This educational trip was awarded for their project “The Strength of the Past for the Present,” which placed them among the top ten out of more than 50 schools in Lithuania.

During the trip, students first visited Generolo Jono Žemaičio Lietuvos karo akademija, where they learned about the academy’s activities, cadet studies, and the structure of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The visit provided valuable knowledge and helped them better understand the importance of service to the state.

Later, students visited Signatarų namai – a historic site where the Act of February 16 was signed. This place holds special significance for the Lithuanian state, making the visit especially meaningful and memorable for the students.

At the end of the trip, students visited the Faculty of History at Vilniaus universitetas. There, they attended a lecture about a historical discovery made by students this year – documents found in a church in the Šešuoliai region. The lecture stood out for its relevance and provided insight into the latest historical research.

During the trip, students were also awarded for their project work.
