Sausio 13 d. nemaža grupė klaipėdos licėjaus 7 klasės mokinių lydimi lietuvių kalbos ir literatūros mokytojos Aretos Tamošaitienės lankėsi Vilniuje. Stabtelėjo prie Televizijos bokšto pagerbti žuvusiųjų už Lietuvos laisvę atminimą. Iš arti susipažino su didžiausia šalies knygų saugykla – Lietuvos Nacionaline Martyno Mažvydo biblioteka. Turėjo retą ir išskirtinę progą laikyti rankose pirmosios lietuviškos knygos faksimilę, vartyti ir skaityti Kristijono Donelaičio “Metų” originalą. Žiūrėdami nuotraukas, mokiniai sužinojo, kokia svarbi ši vieta buvo 1991 metų Sausio 13-osios įvykių kontekste.Ir, žinoma, svarbiausia šios kelionės dalis – susitikimas su knygų paaugliams autore Ilona Ežerinyte. Perskaitytos šiemet net dvi šios rašytojos knygos, tad klausimų būta daug. Mokiniai džiaugėsi galimybe susitikti su savo mėgstamų knygų autore ir su ja susipažinti.
On January 13th, a sizable group of Klaipėda Lyceum 7th-grade students visited Vilnius while supervised by the Lithuanian language and literature teacher Areta Tamošaitienė. They made a stop at the Vilnius Television tower in memory of all of those people who died for Lithuania’s freedom. They had a close look at the largest literary vault in
Lithuania – Lithuania’s National Martynas Mažvydas library. The group also had a rare and special opportunity to hold in their hand the facsimile of the first Lithuanian book, and flip through and read the original copy of Kristijonas Donelaitis “Metai”. As the students looked through the photographs they found out why this place was so important within the context of the events that occurred on January 13th, 1991. Of course, the most important part of this trip – a meeting with the author of teenage novels Ilona Ežerinytė. The students had read two books by this author and, thus, questions for the author were plenty. The students were glad to have had an opportunity to interact with the author of some of their most favourite books and to get to know her
better.
